We have been so encouraged to hear from many of you about how much you like the new mission and vision statements and how they bring more clarity to what we do.
We are really excited about them too, you know how much we like crystal clear over communication!
We are in an exciting time with TFI!
- New Office
- New Website
- New Message
Let’s pray together that GOD awakens a fire in people – that more and more people will become aware and that awareness will lead them to action.
We want to see people everywhere supporting the foster care community and experiencing Jesus together!
Prayer Request
I want to close with a prayer request. As our ministry has grown, so has our budget. This year our budget is $320,000. To date, I still have over $115,000 to raise before our fiscal year is over at the end of June.
Please pray:
- For me to connect with the right people who are excited to be generous givers to our ministry.
- For our upcoming fundraiser (April 13th) that God will bring the people who need to be there.
I have one more request:
If you have people in mind that you think might want to give to the national side of things in addition to your local areas, I would be grateful if you asked them if they would be interested in a phone or video call with me. But please know, I never ever want to take donors from you – only if they might want to give in addition to what they give locally.
Thank you so much, my friends! Keep at it and continue helping people support the foster care community through awareness, encouragement, and advocacy.
Over the last few months, you’ve heard us talk about a handful of changes that we are making as TFI.
It started with wanting a new website that not only looks better but works better for you—our advocates. Through the website development process, we learned that awareness, encouragement, and advocacy were more than just categories to organizer content by, but a new way to clearly communicate what we do as TFI.
We want to communicate this clearly in every area of our ministry, and because of that, we decided to do a brand refresh entirely—a new logo, new fonts, new colors, etc. In fact, last month Jami shared the first parts of this new branding, our mission and vision statements.
Mission: Helping you support the foster care community through awareness, encouragement, and advocacy.
Vision: People everywhere supporting the foster care community and experiencing Jesus together.
And now today, we are showing you the new TFI logo!
The yellow bar of the logo represents Awareness, the gray bar represents encouragement, and the mint bar represents advocacy.
We’ll be sending you information about the timeline of this new brand rollout in the coming weeks. For now, if you have questions make sure and bring them to your next Roundtable!
We are so excited about this new logo, and we hope you are as well.
Podcast Certificate of Completion
Some of you have asked, so we created a Podcast Certificate of Completion! Please feel free to share this with all the foster parents you know and have them check with their agency to see if they can use podcasts for continuing education credits.
New Advocate
We are so excited to welcome a new Advocate to the TFI Family! Join us in welcoming Lisa in Minnesota (keep a lookout on the TFI Family Facebook page). She will be launching her area in just a few weeks!
