Brand + Graphic Designer

Bloomington, IL  |  Part-time  |  In-office/Remote

Do you believe good design can help people feel something meaningful?

Are you the kind of designer who thinks beyond making things “look nice” — someone who loves creating visual experiences that tell stories, inspire action, and strengthen trust?

Do you enjoy shaping brands that feel thoughtful, cohesive, and mission-driven?

The Forgotten Initiative is looking for a Brand + Graphic Designer to help strengthen and evolve how our mission is experienced visually across campaigns, events, digital communication, print materials, and storytelling.

This isn’t simply a production design role.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys contributing ideas, shaping creative direction, and building visual systems that help people connect more deeply to meaningful work. Someone who can move between strategy and execution. Someone who cares about both beauty and purpose.

At TFI, we help churches support foster care caseworkers across America — and every piece of communication is an opportunity to help people feel seen, invited, equipped, and inspired to act.

You might thrive in this role if you:

  • Love thoughtful, mission-centered design
  • Enjoy turning messaging into compelling visual storytelling
  • Care deeply about brand consistency and emotional connection
  • Like balancing creativity with collaboration
  • Feel energized by mission-driven work that serves others

This part-time role will partner closely with TFI’s Communications Director while helping shape campaigns, resources, event materials, social content, and the future of TFI’s visual identity.

If this sounds like the kind of work you’d love waking up to create, we’d love for you to explore the full job description and apply.
