Creative Media Specialist

Reports to: Communications Director
Status: Full Time, Exempt
Salary Range: $40,000-$44,000 plus benefits
Location: TFI Office in Bloomington, IL

Job Summary

As a Creative Media Specialist, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and executing engaging video and graphic design content that aligns with our brand’s vision. You will collaborate with the Communications Team to develop creative strategies, manage projects from inception to completion, and ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Video Production

  • Film, edit, and produce high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and events
  • Collaborate with team members to gather video content and ensure brand consistency in all video productions
  • Craft applicable, appropriate, and error-free digital assets and animations for video screen support

Podcast Management

  • Oversee podcast production, editing, and distribution, ensuring high-quality content and consistent scheduling
  • Manage podcast production schedule ensuring individual tasks (including guest scheduling, video editing, and design) and team member tasks are completed on time

Graphic Design

  • Design visually appealing graphics for various purposes, such as social media, merchandise, marketing materials, presentations, and events
  • Maintain consistency in design elements and branding across all platforms

Digital Communication

  • Utilize WordPress to create and manage website content, ensuring it is engaging and up to date.
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp, analyzing performance metrics and optimizing content for better engagement.

Project Management & Collaboration: 

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Coordinate with team members, contractors, and vendors to execute creative projects and communicate progress effectively
  • Serve TFI Advocates in developing custom resources to assist in ministry-related projects and events

Qualifications

  • Proven knowledge & experience in multimedia content creation
  • A strong portfolio showcasing video production and media management skills
  • Basic graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress for content management and website updates.
  • Experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.
