Hey, story-lover. Design-thinker. Video-shooter. Deadline-meeter.
You’re a creative with an eye for good design and an ear for compelling stories—and you know how to bring them to life, start to finish. But beyond the art, you’ve got the discipline to manage timelines, juggle projects, and get things done with excellence.
If you enjoy wearing a lot of hats (think video producer, podcast wrangler, graphic designer, and collaborator), and if you’re energized by meaningful work that makes a real impact in the foster care community—we’d love to meet you.
At The Forgotten Initiative (TFI), we’re looking for a Creative Media Specialist to join our Communications Team. You’ll help shape our message and our media, working closely with others to produce video content, podcasts, graphics, and digital communications that inspire our audience and elevate the foster care community.
Here’s What You’ll Get to Do:
-
Produce engaging video content, from filming to editing to final delivery, for web, social, and event use.
-
Manage and grow our podcast, ensuring each episode is high-quality, on time, and worth the listen.
-
Design digital and print assets that align with our brand, whether it’s for a social campaign or an event T-shirt.
-
Maintain and update our website using WordPress and craft compelling email campaigns via Mailchimp.
-
Serve our TFI Advocates by designing custom resources to support their local ministries.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
-
You have a strong portfolio of video and multimedia work (editing, production, etc.)
-
You’ve got solid graphic design skills and can confidently use tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
-
You’re familiar with WordPress, Mailchimp, and digital marketing basics.
-
You’re comfortable juggling multiple projects and managing your time well.
-
You love telling a story—and have a sharp eye for detail and a creative mind.
-
You collaborate well, communicate clearly, and follow through.
