Core Value #1 – Honor God

We as a national team have been memorizing the verses that our Core Values stand on. It hasn’t been easy, but we’re getting there! So, I want to encourage you to memorize these verses with us so we can remember why we do what we do!
Care Portal
Many of you may be familiar with Care Portal—another ministry that serves those in foster care. Care Portal recently invited TFI National to discuss potential partnership opportunities between ministries. TFI National recently had a face-to-face discussion with a representative from Care Portal while at CAFO. The discussion was very informative and helped us understand more clearly how their model of serving works. After comparing and contrasting the various strategies, processes and philosophies that both Care Portal and TFI operate under, we have decided not to pursue a partnership with them. The main reason being, our models of ministry are different. The main difference is that Care Portal encourages churches to give financially to cover administrative costs as well as give to needs. Whereas we want our churches to be able to give directly to the needs.
