Families Serving Families matches a small group/local team with a Sherburne County foster family to support them with a weekly meal and encouragement. This is a short-term commitment (4 weeks) with flexibility, ideal for a small group looking to make a direct local impact.
Is your church or group looking for a service project to support foster care in our community?
Children placed in foster care sometimes need to be removed from their homes with little to bring with them. A Journey Bag is a backpack filled with pajamas, underwear, socks and toiletries, books, and toys, serving practical, immediate needs. Journey Bag drives collect specific items that fill Journey Bags and go to placements for care.
