Foster care caseworkers are burning out, and children feel the impact.
Many caseworkers feel misunderstood, under-supported, and overlooked even by their own communities. TFI exists to help churches support caseworkers, so they experience dignity, community, and hope.
What We Do
THE PROBLEM
Caseworker burnout often leads to two harmful outcomes:
Caseworkers stay—
but at a cost.
They experience diminished well-being as they are stretched beyond capacity. Children feel less seen, less known, and less cared for.
Caseworkers leave—
often abruptly.
Their departure creates disruption and instability. Children experience longer stays in foster care and broken trust.
Burnout doesn’t only affect caseworkers—it reshapes the experience of the children they serve.
OUR MISSION
We help churches support foster care caseworkers through awareness, encouragement, and advocacy.
We believe well cared for people, care well for people. When caseworkers are supported, children experience greater care and stability.
OUR WORK
Through our gospel-rooted resources and Advocate program, caseworkers experience dignity, community, and renewed hope as the Church grows in compassionate understanding and consistent engagement.
