Each Year, TFI provides events for your family
You will receive information for each of these events through your foster care staff or through our newsletter.
Movie Night Baskets – March – Carver County Licensed Families
We want to help your family enjoy a night at the movies! We provide theater gift card or VUDU download link to watch a movie at home. We add some popcorn and candy and you are all set!
Family Fun Event – May
The Forgotten Initiative hosts a family fun event each year as a fund raiser for our scholarships program. Foster families enjoy the event for free.
Summer Picnic – July – Veteran’s Park in Chaska
All foster families are invited to this fun summer party. Hosted by Westwood Community church in partnership with TFI, your family will enjoy food, inflatables, games, archery and wonderful community with other foster families.
Christmas Gifts for Foster Kids – Carver County Licensed Families
Our community wants to partner with you to bring gifts to the foster kids in your home. In October, you will be sent a form form that you can fill out with specific requests or you can choose an age level gift package. We fulfill the gifts and arrange delivery by mid-December.
